Volunteer Opportunities in Youth Ministry

Youth Gatherings: High School Ministry
HS Youth Night: every Wednesday night from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the church Auditorium Rm: 111
ADULTS NEEDED: 21 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.
At least 2 cleared chaperones to be present with the young people depending on the number of youth
2 people to help with sign in sheets
2 people to help with hospitality and hosting (snacks, decorations, supplies)
2 adults for security to help watch the doors during arrival and dismissal
Speakers, presenters and musicians are welcome to discuss possible leadership roles
Adults assisting with youth gatherings needs to attend a once a month Youth Adult Team meeting.
Youth Gatherings: Junior High Ministry
JH Youth Night every 2nd Friday of the month from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the church Auditorium Rm: 111
ADULTS NEEDED: 21 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.

Prayer Team
NEEDED:
People willing to set aside a small amount of time each week to remember young people, their families and our ministry in prayer, this can be done as a group or individually.
Adult Team (A-TEAM)
ADULTS NEEDED: 18 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.
8-12 people willing to meet once a month to offer constructive criticism and ideas to shape the form and direction of Youth Ministry at St. Augustine. Preferably representatives from both Junior high and High school ministry.
Chaperons
ADULTS NEEDED: 21 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.
Willing to help chaperon youth at gatherings, events, and trips. If possible, assist with transportation and support to Adult Team. Ability to help problem solve greatly appreciated. If driving Youth, a drivers liability form must be completed and a state drivers license is required.
Able to attend a once a month Adult Team meetings when asked.
HOSPITALITY
ADULTS NEEDED: 18 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.
Able to help with supplying, preparing, and serving snacks and drinks at youth gatherings and events. Supplies for snacks and drinks may vary depending on event and funds available.
Able to attend a once a month Adult Team meetings when asked.
DRIVERS
ADULTS NEEDED: 25 yrs. of age or older
note: All adults must be cleared through safe environment before working with Youth.
Able to help with transporting youth and adults to certain events and sites where youth are scheduled to attend. Drivers must have a valid state drivers license and must complete a drivers liability form before transporting any youth under 18 years of age.
Able to attend a once a month Adult Team meetings when asked.
